Organization & Administration of the School Media Center
An examination of the leadership, management, and instructional responsibilities of the school library media specialist. The course addressed program administration, collection and resource management, collaboration, advocacy, policies, budgeting, and the development of effective school library programs.
A collaborative redesign of an existing school library space focused on creating a more welcoming, flexible, and functional environment for reading, research, instruction, and collaboration. The project incorporates adaptable furniture, improved shelving, makerspace areas, and design ideas gathered from other school libraries.
A data-informed collection development plan for the Kenly Elementary School Media Center examining school demographics, collection size and age, reading levels, representation, and historical collection trends. The plan establishes targeted purchasing and weeding priorities for the 2026–2027 and 2027–2028 school years.

The project evaluates resources for reading, research, creation, library management, and digital access while providing recommendations for future use.
